This summer, my goal is to take at least one hike a week because Utah offers so many fantastic hikes. Today I went to memory grove with my younger sister. Our plan was to take the mini hike from the park to city creek canyon and do part of the city creek canyon walk.


Unfortunately she was feeling a bit faint and we only managed part of the hike from the park before we turned back.


I love this park because it is kind of tucked and hidden away between Capitol Hill and The Avenues, and because it leads into City Creek Canyon. It kind of feels like you are starting in the city and are slowly moving away into a hidden pathway through the mountains and within an hour or two you could feel fantastically lost in the wilderness (despite the path being paved).
