June 23-26 was the arts festival this year.

The arts festival is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. In the past I have only been on one day for a few hours, but this year I felt like I lived there. I volunteered before the festival to help set up, I volunteered during the festival in the face painting tent (my new favorite thing to do... those children are adorable!), and I volunteered after the festival to clean up. And on top of all the volunteering I spent two whole days (before my volunteer shifts) just exploring.

There is so much that goes on at the festival, it is amazing. My favorite parts are the Fear No Film festival, and the Urban Arts area. This year there was also yarn bombing all over the festival grounds and I thought it was fantastic.
