Two weeks ago I went on this hike with Janelle. Unfortunately we only managed to hike a mile into the trail before we needed to turn around due to a time restraint. It is a fantastic hike though. The trail follows a river all the way up to the lake. It is refreshing and calming to hear the sound of the rushing water. The view from the mountainside is breathtaking and the flora is beautiful in its wild way.

This time I tried to focus more on photographing the landscape and the plants, and I am quite proud to announce that for once I ended up with some really great shots of things that aren't people.
